Lore:Blujern-Tuk

From Official Bloodlines Reforged Saga Wiki

Blujern-Tuk, dwarvish for Gem Cutter is a legendary ancient Leiness hand axe. The axe was once wielded by King Vech, one of the first 3 kings of the Stonebeard Clan. To the Dwarven Kings and their people, the axe served as an orb, scepter, and record of their history.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

It was lost during the second year of the Battles of Rending when the Gods wrath leveled the city of Nolcavanor. The axe remained lost for over 4,250 years. It was rediscovered by Roland and brought back to King Vigorr of the Stonebeard Clan in the year 1648 in the Age of Restored Great Man Kings.

Description[edit | edit source]

Blujern-Tuk is a sturdy, razor-sharp double-headed hand axe with a jagged rim to both edges.[2] It's made of leiness, a magical, volcanic glass similar to obsidian that few know how to forge into a weapon.[3] When held up to a light, it reflects a deep red color.[4]

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The axe was never named directly in the first three Heirs of Vanity novels. Its name was first revealed in an AMA held on the official FaceBook group, R.J. Hanson - Bloodlines Reforged, on February 11, 2022.[5]
  • The title given to Roland by the Dwarves, "Tall Walker", was the dwarven nickname for his ancestor, King Ivant, by the dwarves.[6][7][8]
