Morosse, the Spike Thumb is the second short story set in the Bloodlines Reforged Saga. Morosse, the Spike Thumb was written on January 15, 2020[1] for an anthology to be published by SOOP (Something Or Other Publishing) in January 2020.[2] It later became an exclusive short story for R.J. Hanson's newsletter Notable and Quotable, alongside Depths of Nolcavanor.

On May 2, 2022, Adventures of Stratvs Collection: Short Stories of the Bloodlines Reforged Saga was released, marking the first time this story could be purchased with an MSRP of .99 USD. It's featured alongside Depths of Nolcavanor and Death of a City, Birth of a Curse.[3]

Setting[edit | edit source]

Morosse, the Spike Thumb is set in year [Research required], in the Age of Restored Great Man Kings. If you're following the author's suggested reading order, it should be read after Death of a City, Birth of a Curse and before Bloom of Blood and Bone.[4]

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

A pirate queen is building a fleet to siege a city and legitimize herself. A pirate captain stands in her way. A bosun, strong and ambitious, may be her key.[5]
