Lore:Sanctum Lacra
Sanctum Lacra, was a painted warehouse where young doctor Silas Morosse conducted his medical practice in Moras. It made its debut in Fires That Forge in 2020.
It was burned down in the year 1648 of the Age of Restored Great Man Kings by Silas, with its final patients inside.
Name Etymology[edit | edit source]
Sanctum Lacra literally meant "Refuge Faith". The high clerics, High Cleric Dyllance the loudest among them, protested the name, and Silas assured them it meant "Refuge of Faith", in order to not favor any one religion. In his trademark sneaky way, however, it actually meant "Refuge From Faith", due to Silas' extreme distaste for religion.

Fires That Forge[edit | edit source]
Sanctum Lacra was Silas' medical practice, where he studied medicine and treated the downtrodden of Moras, as well as experimented on them. Silas was known to have done autopsies on cadavers as well, much to the dismay of the churches.
When Sanctum Lacra was threatened by Lady Evalynne and Uriel-Ka, Silas barred the doors and preemptively burned it down to prove a point.
When asked about this, he told his Lady, Dru plainly that he had nothing more to learn from studying there.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Silas was treating a young girl named Helena who had burn scars, only for her to ironically die of fire at his own hands.
- That makes her as the second person need Helena that Silas killed, both within days of each other.
