Lore:Vampires

From Official Bloodlines Reforged Saga Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Vampires are a species of immortal beings comprised of people from various races who have been turned into vampires by another. Upon being turned, they must begin to consume the blood of the living to extend their unnatural lives.

Ranks[edit | edit source]

Master Vampire[edit | edit source]

Master Vampires, also known as 'Blood Lords' are the highest-ranking vampires. They're able to create thralls and upon turning somebody, they can choose which rank they wish for them to be initially. Should a master vampire be killed, the vampire's soul will determine if they ascend or turn back into their former species.

Lieutenant[edit | edit source]

Vampire[edit | edit source]

Initiate[edit | edit source]

Initiates are the only vampires unable to create thralls.

Biology[edit | edit source]

Blood Consumption[edit | edit source]

Vampires consume the blood of the living by puncturing them with their fangs and sucking out the blood. Through a third puncture wound, they transfer the blood of their previous victim(s) into their current victim.

Reproduction[edit | edit source]

Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]

Knowledge Retention

Vampires retain all knowledge and powers they had prior to turning while obtaining all the inherent powers of vampires. A Farmer turned vampire would be much less of a threat than a powerful Sorcerer or Templar.

Thralls

Vampires can create thralls out of other people by using mind domination powers. All levels but initiates can create thralls, but the distance they can create or control their thralls is dependent on their power level.

Weaknesses[edit | edit source]

Inspiration[edit | edit source]

Vampires in the Bloodlines Reforged Saga take inspiration from the Rolemaster RPG System with significant modifications and changes to make them "more realistic and streamlined".
